Isaiah 58 is Now

Isaiah 58 is Now is a painting done in acrylics, as is most of my art. Dimensions are 9″ x 12″ x 1″ (estimated). Shipping weight I am not sure of. The painting reflects on Isaiah 58:7-10 (7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? 8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward. 9 Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; 10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday.). The title itself was found in white words down one of the sides of the canvas. They showed up after the paint had dried, as if painted by a single hair of a brush. The part of this passage that the painting expresses to me is “Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thy health shall spring forth speedily…” The conditions expressed here are possible in the lives of today’s believers.
Anyway, I digress. Enjoy it for what it is. Prints are available by going to Isaiah 58 is Now The painting itself can be ordered here. In addition to framed prints, Canvas and unframed prints are available.
